ALL ABOUT REMEDIAL MASSAGE
ALL ABOUT REMEDIAL MASSAGE
Your remedial massage will begin with a brief consultation to make sure we are familiar with your medical history, work and exercise habits, previous and current injuries. We will evaluate your areas of tension or injury and may use postural analysis, biomechanics, soft tissue techniques and body alignment. Our therapist will discuss the massage style and techniques that will benefit you the most to ensure you begin to experience relief as early as possible.
During the massage the pressure should be bearable and our therapist will gauge your level of pressure and comfort. You may be a little sore the following day depending on the specific technique used or the area treated but that will not last long. It is important to keep well hydrated after your massage. This will help flush out any toxins that were released during your treatment.

“After having babies , I found my back and shoulders were always tight from picking them up and holding them for long periods of time etc. I recently had a massage with Riley and it feels so much better now! She worked through tight spots I didn’t know I had and I left feeling so much more revitalised. I promise I won’t leave it as long between massages next time!”
“I go to the gym 4-5 times a week so was looking for a therapist with a great understanding of anatomy, exercise and strength training and Riley was that and more. She has helped me with so many niggles, overworked muscles and gives plenty of advice on how to look after myself between treatments, she’s fantastic.”
