Women’s Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

About Kristin

Originally from San Francisco, Dr Kristin Andrighetto swapped cable cars and fog for sunshine and beaches when she moved to Australia in 2019. Her journey into physiotherapy began as a teenager after a serious knee injury sidelined her from soccer. Hours of rehabilitation not only brought her back to the field but also sparked her passion for helping others heal, move well, and live life to the fullest.

Soccer remained a huge part of her life—Kristin played Division 1 at the University of Missouri and went semi-professional while completing her studies. In 2014, she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York Medical College, and since then has gained over 10 years of clinical experience across a wide spectrum of conditions, including:

  • Women’s health physiotherapy
  • Pelvic floor rehabilitation
  • Stroke and brain injury recovery
  • Sports injuries and chronic pain

Kristin is also a proud member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA).

Women’s Pelvic Health Focus

Kristin’s true passion lies in women’s pelvic health physiotherapy. She believes that every woman deserves to feel strong, confident, and comfortable in her own body. Throughout life, women face unique physical challenges—puberty, pregnancy, childbirth, perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. Too often, issues like bladder leakage, pelvic pain, or post-baby core weakness are dismissed as “normal” and something women just have to live with.

Kristin knows this couldn’t be further from the truth. Her approach goes beyond treating symptoms—she works to understand the whole person, restore function, and provide tools for lasting confidence. Whether it’s:

  • Helping new mums safely return to exercise,

  • Supporting recovery after pelvic surgery,

  • Relieving chronic pelvic or abdominal pain, or

  • Guiding women through the physical changes of menopause,

Kristin provides compassionate, evidence-based care that can truly transform daily life.

Outside the Clinic

He enjoys helping with complex cases and has a long term referral relationship with local GP’s, Medical Specialists, Podiatrists, Dentist, Exercise Physiologists and other health professionals.

When she’s not helping clients, Kristin enjoys baking (and experimenting with new recipes), relaxing with a good book, playing a round of golf, or spending quality time with her family and friends.
